Our story
Dartmouth Bees is a family run business that specialises in producing raw, unprocessed honey using traditional methods.
I’ve always had a passion for the natural environment and started bee keeping as a hobby. My one bee hive and new found passion for bees soon rubbed off on my family and Dartmouth Bees was born. We now have multiple apiaries around Dartmouth and the surrounding areas, and are the custodians of over a million bees!
We started the company with a vision to provide good quality honey and luxury bee products.
On our various platforms, we aim to add an educational element in the hope that you might share our interest and make small changes in your daily activities in becoming more bee-friendly and supporting local producers and beekeeping in general.
We provide our bees with traditional wooden hives in select apiaries, harvesting honey only from the strongest colonies that provide a surplus of honey to their needs.
